Having To prove yourself Innocent. Not Right

Hello, there needs to be a dispute form for charges that were denied without proper justification, I have supplied the proper forms and still cannot get this issue resolved. I have never had these kind of issues with the flex pay system. This is a Problem.

  • Yes, unlike AFLAC, our previous flex plan carrier, 24hourflex is in the business of denying claims. I am going to ask my employer to switch back to AFLAC, since the exact same type of documentation accepted by AFLAC as proof of dental work that was paid for was rejected by 24hourflex. Now I have to appeal to have any hope of getting my own money back.

    And this was all spent on dental work, not fun parties or something. Why does this company make things so difficult for its customers?

  • Our goal is to reimburse all eligible claims and do it as quickly as possible for employees. There are rules the IRS has established in terms of what is eligible and what is not and we are required to follow those rules in order to protect both the employer and the individual employee.

    The issue may be that we cannot tell when the work was performed. If your billing statement says "balance forward" and then lists a payment we cannot tell when the services were incurred which is needed in order to reimburse a claim.

    I cannot speak to what AFLAC was reimbursing and the rules they follow but know we want to help you get this figured out. Please send us an email at appeal@24hourflex.com requesting we re-look at your claim and we will do so.
